GoodWater signs a pilot project with Caritas Cambodia for arsenic treatment solution

Phnom Penh, Cambodia 27th Aug, 2015 – Caritas Cambodia ED, Mr Kim Rattana and disaster management manager, Mr Sok Sakhan with Eddie Low, The GoodWater Company Pte Ltd in the signing of the pilot project for Arsenic treatment solution for the Bottom of Pyramid segment.

 

The GoodWater Company has been researching and seeking a partner who has the capability to develop a solution for removing arsenic in groundwater in the past few years for the regions affected by arsenic in Asia. With the support of IPI (established under the Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry), we were introduced to Asxban Technologies. With this partnership, GoodWater can look forward to expand the availability of arsenic-free, potable water through simple solutions to more BoP communities in the region. The innovations from Asxban are also being showcased at GoodWater’s Centres of Excellence in Singapore and Indonesia.

 

The signing of the pilot project with Caritas Cambodia, a major NGO in Cambodia was made on 27th Aug 2015 with The GoodWater Company in Phnom Penh will be deployed in phases and will benefit 100 families.
